Briggs is joining the likes of Elton John, Lars Ulrich and Nicki Minaj to have his own Beats 1 show with today's announcement of brand new programme, The New Australia.
The Melbourne rapper will host the show "dedicated to showcasing Australian hip-hop and spotlighting local artists to Apple Music’s 50 million subscribers in over 115 countries".
Upcoming guests on the show include burgeoning acts like Manu Crooks, Kobie Dee, Kaiit and Carmouflage Rose.
Meanwhile artists such as Kwame, Sampa the Great, and Vic August will give their takes on new music coming out of Australia.
“Happy to be joining the Beats 1 squad to host The New Australia which is breaking ground by showcasing artists to the world," Briggs said.
