Ahead of their trip to SXSW this week, emerging Aussie outfit Vacations have today dropped brand new track, On Your Own

The Newcastle quartet will make the trip to Texas alongside a string of big-name Australian acts including Dean Lewis, Skegss, Odette and Angie McMahon.

"On Your Own marks a new direction and different dynamics for us, and I'm excited to see where it takes us," frontman Campbell Burns said.

"We've never sat down together as a group and fleshed out ideas as much as we have with this song. Lyrically, I enjoy writing ambiguously/non-gendered so that anyone can relate and interpret their own meaning. For myself, it speaks out about trying to find acceptance within an industry, personal growth, and not bending to anyone.

"I hope you find your own meaning when you listen to it."

Since forming, Vacations have racked up over 11 million streams and over three million hits on YouTube and last year toured throughout the US, Europe and UK on the back of their 2018-released debut album, Changes.
