A new series of workshops created for songwriters, musicians and the industry at large will move through Australia next month.

The Mental Health Matters workshops, led by an AccessEAP clinician with experience in mental health and wellbeing training, will help attendees learn how to identify mental health issues, provide self-care tips and detail resources available in the music industry including the Support Act Wellbeing Helpline

The workshops will kick off in Adelaide, before moving on to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Darwin.

“At Mental Health Matters, AccessEAP’s trained clinicians will lead an open and insightful workshop framed around how the unique demands and stresses of sustaining a career in music can impact mental wellbeing," Support Act CEO Clive Miller said.

"Our aim for the series is to help build a stronger, healthier music community.”

RSVPs to the workshops are essential. For more details, click here.
