WAM's Song Of The Year competition is back for another year and it's time for WA artists to submit their tracks for consideration.

This year's lucky winner will score themselves a huge prize pack that includes $3,000 in cash, a national media servicing campaign, a $1,000 voucher towards any vinyl pressing, two-week radio campaign, two passes to WAMCon 2019, a two-day recording and production session, and a heap more.

Two runners-up will receive a $1,000 cash prize, a pressing of 20 cassettes, and a double pass to WAMCon 2019, while category winners will score $500 and a free day of recording.

This year there are 17 categories to compete across and entrants have until 25 March at 5pm to get their submissions in through the newly revamped Song Of The Year online platform.

“This year we’re very excited to be presenting a revamped WAM Song of the Year competition with a new, improved and easy to use entry platform, plus more prizes and categories meaning there’s even more opportunities for WA songwriters to have their music heard,” shares WAM’s Song of the Year Coordinator Claire Hodgson.

Stella Donnelly took out last year's Grand Prize for her track, Boys Will Be Boys. To find out more or apply, head here.
