Baker Boy has had a huge 12 months, filled wth award wins and nominations, a spot in the triple j Hottest 100 and being named the 2019 Young Australian Of The Year, and today he announces a headline Australian tour.

Baker Boy, real name Danzal Baker, will kick off the Cool As Hell tour at the newly relaunched Esplanade Hotel in Melbourne on 5 April, before heading to Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle and Oxford Art Factory in Sydney, before performing at Parrtjima Festival in Alice Springs and Boomerang Festival at Byron Bay's Bluesfest.

In addition to the tour, Baker has also dropped the video for his new track, Cool As Hell

"Cool As Hell is about letting the music take control of your body and that's exactly what the film clip does too," he says. "It makes you feel bright and happy. Just makes you want to feel the music and dance."

The clip is directed by Gabriel Gasparinatos and features appearance from Baker's father and brother.

“I wanted to map Danzal’s journey and visualise how a young boy from North East Arnhem Land made it onto (and is now dominating) the world stage, in a charming and excitable way," shares Gasparinatos of the video.

"It was a last minute decision to include his brother Adam and father Josiah into the dance sequence that the latter choreographed during rehearsal – but I felt that epitomised the clip's meaning and intention and really brought it home.

"Led by his dancing that quite literally propels him through these scenarios, I wanted to capture the exciting journey of Baker Boy; which I believe is only getting started."
