It’s a big week for Melbourne singer-songwriter Alex Lahey, who today unveils a new cut from her forthcoming second LP.
Yesterday, the rising Aussie star confirmed her next album, The Best Of Luck Club, would drop May 17 via Nicky Boy Records/Caroline Australia, and fans can now enjoy new single Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself and its accompanying video.
“I wrote this song for my partner who was on tour and was feeling the fatigue and stresses of the road, as we all do,” Lahey said.
“It doesn’t matter how capable or strong or resilient you may be, we all have bad days, and that’s ok. There’s nothing wrong with feeling tired after a hard day’s work and sometimes I have to remind myself of that too.”
