General public tickets haven't even gone on sale yet, but due to 'unprecedented demand' on pre-sales, Elton John has confirmed new dates for his farewell tour of Australia this year.
The music legend will play additional concerts in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Hunter Valley, Mount Cotton, Yarra Valley and Hanging Rock next December and January, with tickets for all dates going on sale from 9am local time tomorrow 14 February.
“Australia and New Zealand, I can’t wait to be with you again,” John said of the upcoming tour.
“Your audiences have always been very generous towards me, and I know that this final tour will be the most memorable ever”.
General public tickets to all existing and new capital city shows go on sale from 9am local time on Thursday 14 February, while all other dates go on sale the same time the next day (Friday 15 February).
