The Eurovision: Australia Decides competition is only a week away and today Sheppard and Tania Doko have shared the tracks they'll be competing with.

Sheppard's George Sheppard describes their track On My Way to be a love song.

"This song is about someone craving the uncontrollable heat and passion they feel when they are with the one they love," he shares. "It’s about excitedly making their way to reunite with their lover, wherever that may be in the world."

“We’re excited at the prospect of representing Australia in what feels like the pop music Olympics," says the band.

"The fact that this is the first time the show has ever taken part in Australia and letting the public decide who gets to go to the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 is really exciting for us. It will be an historic television event that we look forward to being a part of!"

Doko, who's best known as the frontwoman for '90s pop group Bachelor Girl, has shared only a snippet of her track, Piece Of Me, ahead of its 4 February release.

"As the song suggests, I am giving Aussie audiences a Piece of Me, and for me that’s pretty special as I’ve been living in Sweden for ten years and I genuinely miss performing in Australia," she told SBS.

The competition, which includes Killing Heidi frontwoman Ella Hooper, RuPaul's Drag Race star Courtney Act, Kate Miller-Heidke and more, takes place next weekend and will be broadcast live on SBS on Saturday 9 February.
