Australian artist Amy Shark has claimed two people attempting to cross the border into the UK were found on her tour bus this past weekend.

The Gold Coast songwriter, who is currently touring throughout Europe, told ABC that she and her team were travelling from Brussels to the UK when they made the discovery.

"My team found them when preparing merchandise for the show, they picked their bags up and walked out and didn't say a word," Shark said.

"I was asleep on the bus."

Shark continued, "People do dangerous things to get a better life somewhere else. I feel for them but it definitely still gave my team a shock and a fright… (but) I understand how desperate their situation probably is."

Shark will wrap up her tour in Manchester this week before returning home in May for some of her biggest headline shows of the country in Perth, Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
