The importance of mastering is often overlooked when it comes to recording, something Studios 301 is looking to change as they unveil new mastering prices for EPs and albums.
The iconic Sydney recording studio has helped shape countless releases across the years, with Chief Mastering Engineer Leon Zervos – the man who mastered Amy Shark’s Love Monster – among those offering discounted rates for loyal clients.
The studio has announced a new tiered pricing structure that will see artists who book four or more tracks in for mastering receive a reduced rate.
“I love working on EPs and albums. It enables me to really zone in on the complete body of music as an artistic journey from track to track,” Zervos said.
The 301 team has contributed to the success of artist like Midnight Oil, Icehouse, Empire Of The Sun, Flume, 5 Seconds Of Summer, The Kite String Tangle, Ngaiire, Cut Copy and more over the years.
