With a massive heavy music line-up already in the bag, Download Australia has unveiled the return of Hell’s Kitchen, a carefully curated, mouth-watering food offering.
The team behind beloved Newtown burger joint Mary’s, Jake Smyth and Kenny Graham, will bring some seriously delicious menus to Parramatta Park on March 9 and Flemington Racecourse on March 11 to accompany music from Ozzy Osbourne, Slayer, Judas Priest, Rise Against and more.
With Mary’s making an appearance across both shows, Melbourne punters can enjoy eats from award-winning chefs Aaron Turner (Igni), Jo Barrett (Oakridge Winery) and Phil Wood (Laura/Pt Leo Estate), while Beatbox Kitchen, Taco Truck, HSP, Juanita Peaches, All Day Donuts, Messina, Leonards House Of Love, Blue Bonnet BBQ, That Arancini Guy, The Rib Crib and more setup.
Sydney welcomes Paul Carmichael (Momofuku Seiobo), Ali Currey (Voumarde/Agrarian Kitchen) and Enrico Tomelleri (Fratelli Paradiso/10 William St) alongside the likes of Messina, Mary’s Pizza, Bovine and Swine, Nighthawk Diner, Happy As Larry, Sol Y Luna, Ryan Gozleme and Superior Burger.
When you’re not over-indulging on food and music, you can take a stroll through the Download market stalls, which will feature merch from 24 Hundred, figurines and paraphernalia from Popculcha and vinyl from Rare Records.
