After all the Christmas and New Year festivities, it's understandable if you're looking for a Friday night that's a little quieter. Well, you're in luck because Sydney has nabbed itself another outdoor cinema spot and even better, it's free.
Night Owls Kids’ Film Festival opens at Village Green Darling Quarter tonight, and while the earlier sessions are aimed at kids, the After-Hours sessions are for grown-up movie goers from 8.30pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
The season will run from today through to Sunday 20 January, and will show Star Wars: The Last Jedi, Thor: Ragnarok, Sweet Country, Ready Player One, Ocean’s 8, Pitch Perfect 3, The Big Sick and Black Panther.
If you're looking for something a little lighter, they'll be showing The Greatest Showman, A Wrinkle In Time, Coco, Paddington 2, The Lego Ninjago Movie, Peter Rabbit and Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle during the 6.45pm sessions throughout the season.
