US entertainer Jimmy Osmond is recovering after suffering a stroke while onstage in England last week.

As The Telegraph reports, the 55-year-old was rushed to hospital last Thursday after a performance of Peter Pan in Birmingham, where he was diagnosed with a stroke.

“He is grateful for all the well wishes and will be taking time out in the new year,” a spokesperson said.

The youngest brother in The Osmonds, Jimmy is best known for two massive solo hits in the ‘70s, Long Haired Lover From Liverpool and Tweedle Dee.
