The reign of festive albums may have come to a close, but soundtracks still dominate the Australian charts, with Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star Is Born and The Greatest Showman all vying for #1 this week.

The soundtrack to Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born finished on top of the charts last week, making it the longest running album to hold #1 on the ARIA Albums chart in 2018.

While no albums are expected to debut this week, Post Malone’s Beerbongs & Bentleys is predicted to crack the top 10, while his WOW. single looks to debut in the top 10 on the Singles chart.

Drake’s Scorpion also looks to break back into the top 10 on the Albums chart this week, alongside George Ezra’s Staying At Tamara’s.

Other notable movers include the soundtrack to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Ariana Grande’s Sweetener, Shawn Mendes’ self-titled LP, Imagine DragonsOrigins, Cold Chisel’s best of compilation All For You and Billie Eilish’s Don’t Smile At Me, all expected to place in the top 20 in the first week of 2019.
