Lionel Richie Cancels Rescheduled Perth Show

It seems WA isn’t having much luck this week as far as international tours go, with Lionel Richie the second big-name act to can a show in the state.

Richie was initially scheduled to visit the country this past September with Chic's Nile Rodgers, but postponed the run due to changes in his international touring schedules.

The US legend’s 2018 tour was set to kick off at Perth Arena on March 25, but that date has now been scrapped altogether, with promoters offering no explanation as of yet.

Earlier this week, Mariah Carey announced her tour had been rescheduled, with the Perth show dropping off the poster in the process.
