Eminem is back in action and set to score another #1 Australian album off the back of his 9th studio LP, Revival.
According to midweek figures, the Detroit artist’s latest release is predicted to debut in the top three of the ARIA Albums charts, where it should beat out Ed Sheeran's ÷ (Divide), P!nk’s Beautiful Trauma and Taylor Swift’s Reputation to top spot.
A #1 debut seems promising for the rapper, who has cracked top spot consistently in Australia since 2000's The Marshall Mathers LP.
Revival has been garnering tentative praise from fans and critics alike; you can read our review here.
Other albums debuting on the chart this week include Linkin Park’s One More Light Live (top 15), G-Eazy’s The Beautiful & Damned (top 30), Asking Alexandria’s self titled album (top 40), N*E*R*D’s No_One Ever Really Dies (top 40) as well as the Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Pitch Perfect 3 soundtracks (both top 50).
With no new singles debuting this week, Ed Sheeran's Perfect should safe in top spot.
However thanks to the festive season, Mariah Carey’s classic All I Want For Christmas Is You has made its way back into the top 10, in the same week the singer announced the rescheduling of her Australian tour and cancellation of her Perth leg.
