Were you one of the many heavy fans 'round the country that leapt for joy when it was announced the UK's Download festival was finally debuting Down Under, only to come crashing back down at the news it was only heading to Melbourne?

Well, we have some excellent news for you, Live Nation have released a whole slew of Sydney and Brisbane sideshows throughout late March.

Rap rock supergroup Prophets Of Rage, combining members of Rage Against The Machine, Public Enemy and Cypress Hill, are making stops at Hordern Pavilion and Riverstage.

The UK's Neck Deep have released an Adelaide date, playing The Gov before joining '90s pop-punk giants Good Charlotte (also at Hordern Pavilion and Riverstage) along with Falling In Reverse, Issues and Chase Atlantic for good measure.

Monsters of metal Amon Amarth will bring their crushing rhythms to Roundhouse and The Tivoli with support from fellow Swedes Sabaton.

Cali hardcore pop-punk outfit The Story So Far have lined up with special guests Slowly Slowly and Easy Life for shows at The Zoo and Factory Theatre.

Finally, sludgy grindcore crew Nails are headed for Crowbar and Red Rattler.
