Polish Club Enlist WAAX, 360, DZ Deathrays & More For A Killer Mariah Carey Christmas Cover

It’s almost that time of year, Christmas is just around the corner and to celebrate Polish Club have gathered a few dozen friends together to cover an iconic Yuletide tune.

Mariah Carey’s classic All I Want For Christmas Is You gets the punk rock treatment with the boys rounding up damn near everyone in there phonebook for a cameo in the film clip.

You can peep everyone from WAAX to 360 to DZ Deathrays to Shadow Minister Anthony Albanese in front of Parliament House, belting out some Christmas cheer.  

In appreciation for the awesome year that the boys have had they've also released their own Christmas cut, the tongue-in-cheek I Hate You But You Gotta Stay (On Christmas Day), which will be released with the cover on a limited edition 7".

"I wanna stress that the lyrics are completely fictionalised," said lead vocalist David Novak.

"I do not have a racist grandma. But I think it will resonate with some people. There's a wide variety of characters at every Christmas table. But hey, love prevails!"
