Caroline International has today announced its launching a global partnership with one of Europe's leading independent music groups, Because Music.
The multi-year agreement, to include marketing, promotion, distribution and the launch of Because Music's first US label office in LA, will kick off on 1 January.
Caroline and Because Music will also partner for global marketing, promotional support and worldwide distribution (excluding France) from 2019.
The partnership will see both companies work together to strengthen its global operations and create innovative and dynamic campaigns for Because Music's artists, which includes Django Django, Justice and Major Lazer, to name a few.
"Clearly this is a really significant new partnership for Caroline International, and testament to the business and culture that [Caroline International heads] Jim Chancellor and Michael Roe have built over the past four years," Caroline Australia General Manager, Timothy Janes, told The Music.
"We look forward to playing our part in breaking Because Music artists for Australia."
Because Music founder and owner, Emmanuel de Buretal, called the partnership a "clear breakthrough".
"I look forward to working hand in hand with Caroline teams to create new ways of developing and breaking new talents everywhere," de Buretal said.
"It will make Because artists more independent and better placed to enter the new world of music consumption."
