When revered Australian instrumental rockers sleepmakeswaves and US post-metal outfit Rosetta announced their year-ending national tour back in August, let's just say the reaction was huge…
Kicking off at Perth's Badlands on Tuesday 5 December, the five-date run will see the lauded four-piece hit club stages in Adelaide (licensed all ages), Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney in a return to the band's roots of more intimate, ever-intense performances.
Alongside Rosetta — who sleepmakeswaves' Otto Wicks-Green says are "one of our all-time favourite bands" — the group have just announced their local supports for the tour.
Georgia Reed, who's previously supported the likes of Stonefield, The Delta Riggs and Olympia on their tours, will be bringing her brooding sounds to the Perth show, Last Days Of Kali will be sharing their instrumental post rock to Adelaide crowds, Oolluu will be showing off their latest offering Deep Six to Melbourne crowds, and Kodiak Empire will be filling the room with their prog/alternative rock sound in Brisbane, while Mowgli will help wrap up the tour in Sydney.
