Port Mac's out of this world Festival Of The Sun is only a couple weeks away and with the announcement of a new addition to the line-up, as well as some very special initiatives, the whole spectacle just got a lot bigger.
Added to the 2017 bill is triple j Unearthed winners Mild West; the alt rock trio will join the likes Meg Mac, Ball Park Music and The Preatures on stage this December.
Meanwhile in a world first initiative, FOTSUN has introduced the PLAY SAFE VIP area. Decked out with a glitter bar, VIP toilets and a free phone charging station the only thing punters will have to do to get in is pee in a cup. Nothing suss, it’s in the name of keeping festival goers safe from STD’s.
"FOTSUN is dedicated in providing our customers with an array of services and support that encompasses the fun and safe communal vibe we want to maintain for our festival," festival director, Simon Luke, said.
"With these new partnerships, FOTSUN is able to host new and interesting ways for attendees to get involved with our crew and one another.
"Supporting these fantastic causes is another step forward in continuing to offer an unique and memorable outer atmosphere experience for our punters at FOTSUN."
