After a month of eating, breathing and living music, one artist has emerged victorious from Sony Music Australia and ZigZagTV’s revolutionary development project, The ShareSpace.

The project saw seven young music acts living together for 30 days of nothing but musical creativity.

The series finale last night heralded Toowoomba singer-songwriter Tayla Mae as the ultimate winner, with the 24-year-old nabbing herself a global songwriting trip and a coveted spot on Sony Music Entertainments' roster.

In a global first, The ShareSpace was judged off an algorithm that collated data from published content including likes, comments, views, shares and streams, which ultimately determined Mae to take out the competition.

Final tallies has The ShareSpace’s output at 1500 pieces of social media content, 2.6 million YouTube views and 5.4 million total minutes watched across the platform.

You can relive the entire series, plus that winning moment, on the official ShareSpace Youtube channel.
