ARIA Week returns to Sydney for the sixth year this month with arguably its biggest ever line-up yet.

Kicking off on 19 November, the week, presenting a program of special one-off gigs, showcases and conferences throughout Sydney, is to be headlined by Zane Lowe — legendary DJ of Apple Music's Beat 1 global radio station.

Not only will the New Zealand producer feature as a keynote speaker at the invite-only ARIA Masterclass at the Telstra CIC on 27 November, but he will also broadcast three shows while in town to his global audience.

"ARIA is delighted to welcome Zane Lowe to Sydney as the keynote speaker for this year's ARIA Masterclass," ARIA Chief Executive Dan Rosen said.

"With more than 15 years in the business, Zane Lowe has been at the forefront of the global music industry.

"As one of music's most influential radio DJs and now the head of Apple Music's Beats 1 radio station, we look forward to him sharing some of the unique insights he has gathered throughout his extensive career."

Other events locked in in support of ARIA Week 2017 include already-announced showcases from the likes of Dear Seattle and Matthew Young, Vance Joy's Enmore Theatre show and a special producers and engineers BBQ (co-presented by The Music and Studios 301) which will feature a special broadcast from The Music Podcast With Dave & Neil.

Sydney venues can become an official part of the ARIA Week program by registering their shows here; registered shows will be added to the official gigs on the ARIA Week website.
