It's been 21 years since Paul Kelly released unlikely Australian Christmas classic How To Make Gravy and this year, the Aussie icon will be teaming up with some of the country's hottest acts to celebrate the festive season.
Taking place at Melbourne's Sidney Myer Music Bowl on Saturday 16 December, the Making Gravy line-up will feature live sets from Kelly, as well as Gang Of Youths, Meg Mac and Gretta Ray.
Kelly said of the gig, "Gravy's been around a long, long time. Maybe humans came up with it even before they came up with beer and wine. I don’t know.
"But I do know Raymond Carver wrote a poem about it. And I like to make it. And it’s different all over the world. So, we’d like to usher in Christmas and all things grave and gravilicious with a rich, musical stew."
