To celebrate the re-opening of the iconic Waltzing Matilda Centre, some of Australia's most revered names and international acts will head to Winton next year to perform at Winton's Way Out West Fest.
The four-day music and culture event, taking place from 19-22 April, will bring together big names such The Living End, Jessica Mauboy, John Williamson, Busby Marou, Kip Moore, Lee Brice and more.
Following the devastating destruction by fire in 2015, the newly-rebuilt $22 million centre will be the pride of Western Queensland once more.
"It's a real honour to play with such a great line-up of stars for Winton’s Way Out West Fest," Mauboy said.
"Waltzing Matilda is one of the icons of Australian folklore and the reopening of the Waltzing Matilda Centre will itself be a new chapter in the history of our nation.
"I can't wait to share the occasion with the thousands who will come from all corners of Australia to celebrate with us."
Tickets for the festival go on sale on Friday 27 October; for more details click on theGuide or check out the Winton's Way Out West Fest website.
