WAMFest 2017 just keeps on growing, with organisers revealing the Friday-night live music plans for the upcoming event and adding more than 90 new names to the already-impressive bill.
The massive fresh crop includes a diversity of West Australian talent, including — at a glance — Hideous Sun Demon, Jacob Diamond, Elli Schoen, Catzilla, Last Quokka, The Faim, Grace Barbe, Boom! Bap! Pow!, The Caballeros, Carla Geneve, Nerve Quakes, Hector Protector, Death By Denim, Kris Nelson, Shimmergloom and heaps more.
The showcases will be held on Friday 3 November at a handpicked selection of awesome Perth venues including the State Theatre, The Sewing Room, The Bird, The Boston, Indi Bar and El Grotto, Badlands, Tetsuo, HQ Leederville, Paper Mountain, Bassendean Hotel, Hen House, Holmes & Co Cafe, Four5Nine, The Odd Fellow, Amplifier Bar and the Wesley Church.
It's all a part of the wider WAMCon celebrations and is backed up the following night with the more than 130 previously announced acts hitting 20 venues for the WAMFest Live Saturday festivities.
Entry to the showcases is free to punters with a WAMCon pass, but only 20 such patrons will be admitted to each event, so make sure you plan early and have some back-ups on the cards in case you miss the cut-off.
