When he’s not annihilating zombies, eating pudding or developing confusing relationships with his enemies, The Walking Dead’s Chandler Riggs produces dance music.
Speaking to The Music in the lead up to his appearance at the world’s largest zombie, horror and sci-fi convention, Walker Stalker, in Sydney and Melbourne next year, the US actor said he’s looking to release new music in the next few months.
“The past year I’ve been producing music with the help of one of my friends and I’m hoping to put out an EP towards the end of the year,” Riggs revealed.
He’s been working alongside LA-based producer Vincent for a while now, last October sharing a tweet that teased a track called Dawn the pair had worked on, but no new music has surfaced since.
His Australian appearances are scheduled for next March, so with any luck, we might see the Walking Dead star do some gigs during the trip.
“I’m trying to focus on getting a big enough following that the shows I play will actually bring out a crowd,” he said.
“You never know, [Australian shows] would be a lot of fun.”
