Ascendant Newcastle emo/pop-punk four-piece Paper Thin have announced a string of tour dates over the next few months to support the release of their excellent recent EP, Living With. Being Without.
The band will kick off the tour with a hometown launch show at The Cambridge Hotel on Sunday 15 October (with support from Self Talk and Safe Hands) before hitting Sydney and Melbourne (for Not Fest) in early November.
They'll team up with Sydney faves Oslow for a pair of shows in Canberra and Wollongong (all ages) later that month, then head home for an all-ages outing at The Commons on Friday 1 December.
Rounding things out in mid-December will be two final shows: a house show in Doonside, and the tour ender at The Exeter, Adelaide, on Saturday 16 December.
Paper Thin released Living With. Being Without. earlier this month in the wake of dropping the record's first single, the fan-favourite When You Call, in August.
The group have swiftly developed a dedicated following around the traps for their heartfelt, engaging performances and have supported the likes of Japandroids, The Levellers, The Hard Aches and Ceres, as well as appearing at Poison City's venerable Weekender fest in mid-September.
These shows are definitely worth getting out for to catch a band on the rise who are only just starting to realise the breadth of their power and potential.
Living With. Being Without. is out now on Lost Boy Records.
