If you're one of the faithful fans with their heart set on attending next year's Golden Plains festival in Victoria, you'll be stoked to know that the ticket ballot for 2018 is now open.
Next year's event is set to maintain the Golden Plains ethos of continually bettering itself, while retaining all the elements that make it one of Victoria's most sought-after boutique festivals, including its manageble size, single-stage set-up, BYO permission and total absence of corporate sponsors.
The line-up is yet to be revealed, but they've never given us reason to doubt the quality of their artistic roster before, so there's no cause to worry, as alumni punters would be well aware.
The ballot is designed to ensure that most of the available tickets go to Golden Plains subscribers before they're made available for public sale, with two draws — one for existing subscribers, about 19 October, and another for newcomers to the family about a week later — and a limit of three tickets per person.
If you're keen to throw your name in the hat, seek out the entry form on the Golden Plains website by 10pm Monday 16 October.
Golden Plains 2018 returns to the Meredith Supernatural Amphitheatre from 10-12 March.
