In the wake of announcing their year-ending 'We're Totally Fucked' east-coaster yesterday, Brisbane's WAAX have been announced as new additions to the line-up for Yours & Owls Festival this weekend.
The band are replacing fellow Queensland crew Major Leagues, who are no longer able to attend the event. It adds to an already massive last few months for 2017 for WAAX, who are part of the Dune Rats tour featuring WAVVES and Hockey Dad kicking off tonight.
Speaking of kick-offs (and first bounces), both the AFL and NRL grand finals will be airing on the big screen at the festival, starting at 2.30pm Saturday and 7.15pm Sunday respectively.
The wider event line-up includes the likes of At The Drive-In, Sorority Noise, Confidence Man, Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, Alex Lahey, Ali Barter, Northlane, SAFIA, Ruby Fields, The Preatures, Bec Sandridge, Illy, The Presets and many more.
Yours & Owls Festival hits North Wollongong's Stuart Park this Saturday 30 September and Sunday 1 October.
Final release tickets are on sale now through the event; see theGuide for more information.
