The recently announced Peel Street Festival has unveiled its first artist line-up for this November's inaugural event.

Organisers have locked down an impressive initial roster, too, with certified legend Archie Roach leading the charge of acts set to help bring Collingwood alive in a couple of months' time.

He'll be flanked by blues-rock luminaries Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, as well as prodigious young rappers Girl Zone and local cult favourites Terry, featuring members of bands such as Dick Diver, UV Race, Eastlink, Constant Mongrel and Total Control.

The festival will be announcing more artists to join the festivities in the coming weeks. The musical offerings are set to be complemented by an array of culinary, cultural and community attractions to make the first Peel Street Festival an inclusive, inviting event for all ages.

The event will be held on Saturday 11 November. See its Facebook page for more information or to RSVP.
