Sydney instrumental-rockers sleepmakeswaves are already renowned as one of the country's best bands in their field, and now they're showing that they're similarly A+ humans (not that we didn't already know that) by releasing a new T-shirt to raise funds for LGBTQI+ counselling service Twenty10.
The band announced the new apparel today, which stems from a desire "to show our support for the LGBTQI+ community here in Australia (and globally!)", they said in a statement accompanying the design.

"Beyond words on social media, we wanted to try and do something to materially support one of the LGBTQI+ support agencies that are on the front lines of a cruel and unnecessary plebiscite on marriage equality in Australia."
"The rights and wellbeing of the LGBTQI+ are an issue that we feel strongly about now and into the future," they said. "So please dig in and show your support for our fellow humans.
"Love (is love is love is love)."
The T-shirt features a 'rainbow' version of sleepmakeswaves' logo that they've been using as their Facebook profile image since August, the band saying that interest in using the design on a T-shirt led them to create the merch and forward all profits to Twenty10.
"We chose Twenty10 after some conversations with our friends in the community and we understand they have had a very big impact on access to counselling and mental health services for folks who identify as LGBTQI+," the band explained.
If you're keen, the shirt is available for purchase via sleepmakeswaves' Bandcamp page for $25. It's expected to ship in early October.
