A day on the green has announced its line-up for February-March next year and, friends, it is a doozy.
Featuring an absolutely stacked bill of '90s legends, the event will welcome esteemed acts The Living End and Spiderbait, US faves Veruca Salt and The Lemonheads, plus fellow Aussie mainstays Tumbleweed and The Fauves, all teaming up for six seriously incredible days out.
The tour will start off at Bimbadgen winer in the Hunter Valley, before heading to Sirromet at Mt Cotton, Petersons Winery in Armidale, Josef Chromy Wines and Launceston, Mt Duneed Estate in Geelong, and Leconfield Wines in McLaren Vale (The Lemonheads won't be performing at this show, unfortunately).
There are also two headline performances on the cards for Veruca Salt; they hit Sydney's Metro Theatre and Melbourne's 170 Russell in March.
Almost 17 years since the event was first held — and 425 shows later — a day on the green continues to offer up an experience unlike any other, replete with food, wine and continually excellent line-ups. If you've yet to attend, there's probably no better time to change that.
Tickets for the whole run, and Veruca Salt's headline shows, will go on sale from 10am on Monday 25 September.
