Celebrated local deathcore outfit Thy Art Is Murder have announced a five-date headline tour of Australia for February next year, alongside some killer supports.
Joined for the run by international mates Emmure and Fit For An Autopsy as well as local crew Justice For The Damned, Thy Art will commence their face-melting sojourn in Perth, heading eastward to Adelaide and Melbourne before making their way up to Sydney and Brisbane.
The jaunt comes in the wake of their acclaimed new album Dear Desolation, which recently saw the local band making multiple top-20 debuts on various US charts earlier this month, including a high of #3 on the Billboard Hard Rock albums chart. That effort was mirrored Down Under, where the record made a #5 debut on the ARIA albums chart.
The band's touring accomplices are riding similar waves of momentum; Emmure will touch down touting a new-look line-up and tunes from their recent album Look At Yourself, while Fit For An Autopsy are in fine form, having spent the past several months touring around the US and Europe.
Justice For The Damned, for their part, recently joined the growing roster at Greyscale Records, and are just about to undertake a headline tour of their own supporting new album Dragged Through The Dirt, starting in Brisbane this Friday, 15 September, before they head to Europe with Thy Art Is Murder later in the year.
Tickets for the February tour will go on sale from 9am AEST this Friday.
