
Australia’s entertainment industry is expected to benefit greatly from a new partnership deal between the country’s largest independent ticketing company, Oztix, and largest pub owner and operators, ALH Group.
The new deal will see ALH Group’s 330+ venues nationwide utilising Oztix’s full suite of integrated ticketing services; an overhaul that will assist their already substantial investment presence in entertainment reach an even greater audience.
“The industry is becoming more sophisticated than just ticketing and we look forward to utilising Oztix’s extensive marketing platforms to grow our entertainment offer,” ALH Group Commercial Manager Mario Volpe said.
With ALH Group’s venues on their roster, Oztix now exclusively tickets more venues than any other ticketing company in Australia and will provide ALH with valuable insight into the industry via its 1.5 million national subscribers and 2.8 million customer databases.
“Oztix’s first client in 2003 was a live music venue, so 14 years later we’re pleased to see growth continue in this incredibly important sector of the entertainment industry,” Oztix Commercial Director Seth Clancy said.
“ALH Group are the biggest owners and operators of pubs in Australia and we’re the largest independently owned ticketing company so it’s a partnership that just makes sense”.
The collaboration will see ALH Group grow their entertainment portfolio, and improve operational efficiencies across the country.
