Brisbane favourite venue Crowbar is set to get an expansion of sorts, with the announcement of brand new events space, Church.
The unique function area is open to host weddings, functions, pop-ups and private events and punters will get the first taste this Wednesday with Brisbane music photographer Matt Walter to launch his 'No Pits, Just Pits' exhibition.
Curator and event manager Megan Starr-Thomas (formerly of The Brisbane Collective) will head up the Church space.
"Our team all love the arts just as much as live music and a freshly shaken drink... so it makes sense," Starr-Thomas said.
"This space will raise the standards of what can happen in one night, in one building."
