Following a huge Splendour In The Grass headline set and shows around the country last month, Queens Of The Stone Age are now on track to take out top spot on the ARIA Albums chart with their seventh studio album, Villains

According to midweek figures, the California heavyweights' new LP will debut in the top three and is the favourite to land at #1 ahead of Ed Sheeran's ÷ (Divide) and fellow US outfit, The War On DrugsA Deeper Understanding, which is predicted to debut in the top five.

QOTSA could secure their second-straight #1 album in the country, following their 2013 album, …Like Clockwork, which also peaked at top spot.
