Seattle legends Pearl Jam are back with a new documentary, Let's Play Two, and Aussie fans will be amongst the first in the world to see it.

The documentary follows the band and their fans in the lead up to their 2016 Wrigley Field shows in Chicago, as well as focusing on the Chicago Cubs during their World Series championship season.

Renowned music photographer Danny Clinch directed the film and says "in my films and photographs, I love to explore the relationship between a band, their fans and the location."

"When it happens that the main characters of your film are Pearl Jam, the Chicago Cubs, their fans, and Wrigley Field during a historic moment, you know it’s going to be epic. Our instincts were correct to follow the story and it took us to a historic Game 7 of the World Series ending a 108 year drought for the Cubs. I have learned to welcome the unexpected and it always pays off if you’re ready for it."

While the official Let's Play Two website is yet to list screenings outside of Victoria, Tasmania and one New South Wales event (these were announced last week via the band's fan club), Universal Music Australia have today confirmed to The Music that screenings will take place "exclusively at EVENT and Village Cinemas across Australia on October 4."

Bookings can be made directly through the cinemas websites. Watch the full trailer below.
