Long-time photographer for The Music, Andrew Boyle, is gearing up to release a brand new book this year; an homage to comic books and cosplay.
Set for release in October, Heroes & Villains: A Photographic Odyssey Into The Fantastic World Of Cosplay captures 200 cosplayers at the New York Comic Con in a series of photographs and interviews taken between 2012-2015.
The stunning collection showcases the expression, creativity and talent of the cosplay community, with recreations of classic comic, cartoon and film characters such as Batman, Superman, The Joker, Dr Frank N Furter, Harley Quinn and more.
Now based in New York, Boyle has worked at major music and fashion events and has photographed the likes of Miley Cyrus, A$AP Rocky and Tracy Morgan.
Most recently, Boyle photographed the artwork for breakout indie film Patti Cake$.
