Australian music legends John Farnham, Daryl Braithwaite, Baby Animals, The Black Sorrows (with Vika & Linda) and 1927 will unite for next year's second run of Red Hot Summer Tour events, it has been announced.
The news comes hot on the heels of June's first line-up announcement — featuring Suzi Quatro, The Angels, Baby Animals, The Screaming Jets and more — which was so well received that all shows on that leg have either sold out or are quickly approaching capacity.
Nabbing the likes of Farnham (who performed a sell-out run on this year's Red Hot Summer Tour) and Braithwaite, to say nothing of the rest of the line-up, will undoubtedly see this second batch of shows follow suit, so we'd suggest you move quickly on securing your tickets if this kind of shindig is up your alley.
"Audiences loved seeing John Farnham as part of the 2017 sold out tour," promoter Duane McDonald said in a statement. "We’ve joined together an incredible Aussie line-up, some artists who have been part of the Red Hot Summer Tour family for a long time and some who we are newly welcomed to the stage.
"It is going to be a massive summer! We are taking the festival into some towns and venues that we have never played at before — look out, it is going to rock."
The tour will take the Red Hot Summer crew through Jacobs Well, the Central Coast, Wodonga, Mornington, Bendigo and Launceston in February and March next year.
Tickets will go on sale from 12pm this Thursday, 24 August, via Ticketmaster.
