For the first time since last December, The Temper Trap will return home for some huge headline shows this year.

The ARIA Award-winning outfit will head back in November for concerts in Sydney and Melbourne, as well as the already-announced set at Queenscliff Music Festival.

The Temper Trap will also play an intimate and stripped back set at Melbourne Recital Centre as an homage to some of the iconic MTV Unplugged shows.

As well as getting to see all of the hits live, Aussie fans will also get to hear a couple of new tracks that the band have been working on.

"We're pumped to be coming back to Australia to play a couple of shows this Spring," frontman Dougy Mandagi said.

"We always love coming home and we can’t wait to see our fans again! We’re looking forward to Australia hearing some new sounds from us as well."

Tickets for both shows go on sale from 10am on Thursday, 24 August; for more details, click on theGuide.
