Adelaide is stepping up to the plate in terms of building a name for itself as a live music destination, with the city freshly named as host for newly minted electronic festival OH YES.
The inaugural line-up is nothing to sneeze at, either, with UK house legend Duke Dumont leading the charge of acts set to take over the Wayville Showgrounds next month for the 16+ event.
He'll be flanked by old and new favourites alike, including PNAU, SAFIA, Heaps Good Friends, Just A Gent, Northeast Party House and Vallis Alps. Local DJs will help fill out the day's soundtrack, and are due to be announced in the near future.
The first-ever OH YES Festival will be held on Friday 29 September. Presale tickets will be available for Five Four Entertainment, Fat Controller and OH YES Festival subscribers from tomorrow, 11 August.
General public tickets will go on sale from 9am on Monday, 14 August, via Moshtix.
