Celebrated Melbourne ensemble Saskwatch are celebrating the fresh release of their fourth studio full-length, Manual Override, with the announcement of a massive 14-date national tour in support of the album.
Lasting from early October through mid-November, the wide-ranging sojourn will take the Victorian mainstays to stages in Mandurah, Fremantle, Ballarat, Hobart, Geelong, Melbourne, Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle, Long Jetty, Gold Coast, Brisbane, Byron Bay and Adelaide.
The run comes on the heels of a period of notable success for the band, who have seen their recent single December Nights added to triple j and doing the biz on the AMRAP charts, as well as garnering considerable praise for album-fellows Then There's You and Gemini.
The 11-track album was co-produced and mixed by the band themselves in collaboration with sound engineer and good mate Cal Barter at Melbourne's New Market Studios, and its songs are so good on both record and in the flesh that the band sold out their album preview shows in Melbourne and Sydney last month.
Manual Override is available now through nascent label Grow Yourself Up.
Tickets for all shows are available through Saskwatch's website.
