Ramblin' Nights are back with an outstanding line-up of emergent blues, soul, alt/country and folk talent at Leadbelly this Thursday, 3 Aug.

Heading the night are James Thomson & The Strange Pilgrims, who've been rightfully dubbed Newcastle's soulful sons. They're working on a new album set to drop later in the year, so expect some fresh rhythms.

Local outfit Sweet Jelly Rolls are also on board with an amped up mix of classics and originals. If you've ever wanted to see two blokes balance kick drum, mandolin, harmonica, banjo and guitar (while singing) here's your chance.

Last but by no means least Swamp Fat Jangles will open proceedings with their haunting blend of folk rhythms, grunge tones and poetic lyricism.
