The Black Sorrows frontman Joe Camilleri has had a number of instruments and personal items stolen from the back of his car earlier today in Parkville, Victoria.
As The Black Sorrows described on Facebook, “some low-life creeps broke into Joe's car” and made off with one of his iconic Victor Rubin hand-painted saxophones, a unique Nash guitar, small amp, pedals, CDs and a unique ring.
“What these a**holes expect to do with that sax is anyone's guess,” reads the post.
“Please spread the word and let's see if we can get this gear back.”
Some images of the items stolen accompanied the Facebook plea, which you can see below.
The incident follows The Black Sorrows’ gig at Yarraville Live last night, with Camilleri having a number of other gigs booked throughout August, September and beyond.
