Rockin' Sydney pop-punk experimentalists RACKETT are maintaining the meteoric momentum that has buoyed them through 2017 so far with the announcement of a brief headline tour to commemorate their upcoming debut EP, Ready Or Not.
The tour — which will take the band to stages in Melbourne and Sydney in late September — comes concurrent with the revelation that the eclectic and electrifying four-piece will join revered Aussie outfit Killing Heidi for several dates on their just-announced regional tour.
They include additional September dates in Ipswich and the Gold Coast, before RACKETT break away momentarily for a spot at the ANU Art School Ball, Canberra, on 1 October.
They team up with the Killing Heidi crew again in Wollongong, and head through to Newcastle, Chelsea Heights, Mulgrave an Albury in their support capacity.
They'll continue the fun into November, when they appear as part of the Bitter & Twisted Boutique Beer Festival in Maitland.
It all comes amid a time of prodigious buzz surrounding their memorable and magical live shows, which have seen them share stages with the likes of The Darkness as well as featuring on festival bills for events such as Secret Garden Festival, The Blurst Of Times, Mountain Sounds Festival and Electric Lady.
Little wonder, then, that Killing Heidi frontwoman Ella Hooper sees the band as a natural fit for their upcoming run.
"RACKETT have tunes, talent and attitude to burn and are exactly the kind of band I'm thrilled to share the stage with," she said in a statement.
They sold out the single launch for recent cut Ready Or Not, and latest effort Prey is already earning a raft of positive reviews and airplay across stations such as triple j, Unearthed and FBi.
The band's EP is due out later this year, so we'd heartily advise making the most of your copious opportunities to catch them in action over the next several months and get aboard the RACKETT train sooner rather than later.
Tickets are available now via RACKETT's website.
