Seminal '90s Aussie outfit Killing Heidi have been enjoying a resurgence in recent months, and they're looking to keep the good times going as they continue celebrating 20 years since their inception with an extensive regional tour from this September.

In the wake of June's rapturously received metro tour of the country, siblings Ella and Jesse Hooper and their band will be kicking off their upcoming run with a spot at Darwin's One Tropical Day event on Saturday 2 September before heading to their first headline shows of the tour, in Ipswich and the Gold Coast.

They start October at the Caloundra Music Festival before hitting Wollongong and Newcastle, then it's down to Victoria to play Chelsea Heights and Mulgrave.

They return north through Albury and Redland Bay, winding up at Toowoomba's Cully Fest on Saturday 18 November.

"I can't believe it's been 20 years since we started this band," vocalist Ella said in a statement. "I was 13, [Jesse] was 15. We are loving getting back into playing these songs again after so long."

Added Jesse: ""I think we're playing theses songs better than we ever did. People may know the songs, and they'll get to hear the songs they love, but they've never seen Killing Heidi like this."

Tickets for all shows are available through the respective venues and events; see theGuide for a full rundown of dates, locations and other booking details.
