Alex Lahey has today announced the release of her debut album, I Love You Like A Brother, and is set to embark on a national tour in celebration later this year.

I Love You Like A Brother is slated for release on 6 October and comes off the back of a busy few years for Lahey, having played sets at both Splendour In The Grass and SXSW, as well as a string of sold-out shows earlier this year.

Today also sees the release of Lahey's new single Every Day’s The Weekend, with the video featuring comedian Barry Morgan and even an appearance Lahey's own mum.

The tour will be kicking off the I Love You Like A Brother tour in Newcastle on October 4 and will be bringing the tour to both metro and regional areas.
