Some of the country's finest musicians will join forces for a new concert series dubbed SummerSalt, taking place in some of South Australia, NSW and Western Australia's loveliest locales this November and December.
At Adelaide's Glenelg Beach, venerated roots outfit the John Butler Trio will co-headline an outing with celebrated songstress Missy Higgins, while fun-lovin' ensemble The Cat Empire will team up with decorated troubadour Xavier Rudd for a multi-concert affair that will take them to the Hunter Valley, Sydney, Margaret River and Perth over two huge weekends at the end of the year.
The events will include market stalls, catering and activities, with the majority of events being family-friendly affairs designed to encourage people of all ages to attend.
There's even an environmentally friendly aspect to the events, with punters able to purchase a Green Ticket for an extra $3, which will go towards native reforestation projects in both NSW and Queensland.
Tickets for all of SummerSalt's upcoming shows will go on sale from 10am local time next Tuesday, 25 July.
See theGuide for full details of the shows, or check out SummerSalt's website for more information about the fledgling concert series.
