Atlanta's darkwave duchess ABRA to play alongside Thank Guard fam

Atlanta's self-proclaimed "darkwave duchess" ABRA is heading to Australia for the first time this August, allowing you to enter her all-encompassing alt-R&B world.

Influenced by the sounds of New York (where she was born), South London (where she grew up) and Atlanta (where she now works), ABRA's work is a masterclass in DIY. As a key component in Atlanta's outlier Awful Records rap crew, ABRA wrote and produced last year's Princess EP in her bedroom closet, her first release on True Panther Sounds.

Brisbane will play host to ABRA's Red Bull Music Academy headline performance at Woolly Mammoth, while a unique list of Thank Guard selected acts including Manu Crooks, Midas.Gold, Suidgenini and Harvey will be present on the night.
